Great feed no doubt about it. The spicy chili chicken was not quite ‘spicy’ enough… but the sweet spicy chook was spot on! Rose tteokbokki was awesome, an unexpected mix of ingredients, very nice! Rate this place, at the back of a bar selling a limited range of suitable k-beer!

The best Korean fried chicken in Sydney! WANTED CHICKEN is inside the West Ryde “Rydeale Tavern”. Many delicious Korean dishes also available. We enjoyed their freshly prepared, non greasy & well cooked Korean fried chicken. Parking underneath Woolworths plaza 2 hours for free. Walk to the door toward the train station side. Cross the small street to walk inside Rydeale Tavern via a side door. We ordered take away & our fried chicken packed inside a very good ventilated take away box.

The chicken was succulent and juicy and perfectly seasoned as always, and the Rose Tteokbeokki was incredibly delicious. The one thing that really stood out to us was the exceptional customer service. The staff walked around to check on their customers and refilled side dishes if they were empty. They interacted with warmth and a smile and created such a wonderful dining experience. I highly recommend coming here to eat! It's my go to from now on!

I was craving for jajangmyeon and we found this place. We ordered the chicken noodle set, way too much for 2 people but it was absolutely delicious! We managed to gobble most of it and this kept us full for the rest of the day. Would definitely go again

Honestly one of the best Korean fried chicken spots I’ve been to! Everything on the menu tastes great — love the nakji somyeon, jjampong, and seafood pancake. I’ve been coming here for a while and it’s my go-to whenever I’m craving Korean food. The staff are super friendly and always accommodating. Highly recommend!

WANTED was how I felt almost a week ago since I last visited here , the residency of an Incredible Chicken™ franchisee, nestled within Ryedales Tavern, a popular, local sports club x watering hole nestled within Sydney’s North West-West ‘burbs. The takeover of the Tavern boasts the signature ICG chicken, but compared to where I’ve had it around, here it’s seemingly executed the best – crispy, meaty, not overly marinated or in the slightest oily leaving a satisfying feeling without a heaviness in the gut or head. The ever popular jajangmyeon/bap (black bean noodle/rice) is super flavoursome without being stodgy either. I find black bean sauces can be a hit or miss, and much like worn socks, sometimes you’re like “I’ll just wear them again” but nothing feels quite as a good as a fresh, clean pair. This gravy won’t leave you feeling dirty, instead just slicking the ramuyen noodles or rice kernels to make it pop with that signature BB slightly sweet umami. The star of the menu, at least in these Winter months, has to be the Jjampong – a riff on Chinese soup noodles with fresh seafood and veggies. Reinterpreted in South Korea in the late 1900s, the expedition of traditional Korean soup bases made from bone broth and bean paste stock for their noodle dishes led to this delish iteration – deep, peppery, slightly sweet from the combination of paste and seafood plus onions just blanched so they still maintain a bite. The milky consistency that comes from the beef bones coats the noodles perfectly without a strong collagen mouthfeel like a Tonkotsu broth would have. West Ryde, specifically, has been the corner of Ryde that went through arguably the most migrant culture change over the past twenty years. Once heavily occupied by Pacific Islanders and Eastern Europeans, it is now one of the most populous suburbs for Korean migrants – a mix of those born in Australia and those who moved more recently. Visit, explore and most importantly, eat!

I recently visited this Korean bistro, and it’s definitely a hidden gem! I tried the Creamy Onion Fried Chicken, Rose Tteokbokki, Prawn Fried Rice, and Stir Fried Octopus. The Stir Fried Octopus was my favorite—it was chewy, tender, and packed with flavor. Pairing it with hot rice made it even better! The Prawn Fried Rice was also excellent, offering a comforting taste that’s perfect for a hearty meal. While the Creamy Onion Fried Chicken didn’t have the crunchy exterior I expected, the seasoning was spot on. The Rose Tteokbokki was a delightful surprise with its cheese rice cake, which added a fun twist and wasn’t overly salty. This bistro is a great spot to enjoy with friends or coworkers, especially if you’re a fan of authentic Korean flavors. Highly recommend giving it a try!
